Highlander WorldWide is delighted to welcome back our old friend Valentine Pelka.
Valetnine was born in Dewsbury, Yorkshire in the UK. His father was a civil engineer father and his mother an Irish actress, so it was clear from the start that he had a keen eye and mind for wanting to know what made things work – including people. Perhaps it was no surprise that both he and his sister Kazia would both go into acting.
On television his numerous appearances include Crossbow, Robin of Sherwood, Zorro, Family Affairs, Doctoirs, Come Fly with Me, A Touch of Frost, M I High, BUGS and Prime Suspect 6… and of course his role in Highlander: The Series (as Kronos in Comes a Horseman/Revelation 6:8 and which he reprised in three later episodes Archangel, Armageddon and the series’ finale Not to Be. He would also play the role of Korda in the spin-off series Highlander: The Raven. and join with Highlander colleague and friend Peter Wingfield in the action adventure Queen of Swords.
On the cinema screen he has appeared in acclaimed films such as First Knight, The Pianist and Under the Tuscan Sun.
Valentine enjoys the craft of stagework and has appeared in multiple and diverse theatre productions, including two productions based around the life and works of John Lennon.
Though he’s abiding by strict COVID precautions in the last year, he has found time to work on his second novel and he remains a proud supporter of Leeds United, of whom he expects great things in the season to come.
