His on-screen projects appearances have been many and diverse… from Coronation Street to Who Framed Roger Rabbit?, from The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles to Common as Muck, from Luc Besson’s Joan of Arc to Terry Gilliam’s The Brothers Grimm and Fat Friends to Dickensian.
To Highlander: The Series fans he will always be ‘Silas’ one of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, an immortal with a taste for axe-wielding and pet monkeys. He appeared in both Comes a Horsemen and Revelation 6:8 and reprised the role in the Big Finish audio series of Highlander stories. As well as his physical performances, Rich has become well-known for his vocal talents and for his virtual performances. He is, of course, the voice of ‘Daddy Pig’ in the global hit Peppa Pig but has also lend his distinct and booming vocal cadence to computer games such as Assassin’s Creed, Star Wars: The Old Republic, Fable II, Risen,Total War, Dragon Quest Heroes and DmC (Devil May Cry) and narrated Highlander: Dark Places. He has also ‘appeared’ as the virtual performer for Buck in the blockbusting Rise of the Planet of the Apes.
He is also the proud father of another distinctive vocal talent, the award-winning singer and song-writer Freya Ridings…
