Welcome people of Zeist, er, Earth!

Wherever you are based on the planet, we’re delighted to welcome you to Watchercon and below you’ll find the schedule for the weekend line-up with all our global guests…

We apologise that it’s taken so long to deliver the specifics of the schedule below, but the sheer ‘worldwide’ aspect of this event has meant it has been more complicated than a physical show. At previous events we’ve had one stage to populate and though things might not always run exactly to time (such is the nature of the beast), small changes do not usually dramatically change the overall experience.

With a virtual event, one where organisers, guests and attendees are geographically separated by thousands of miles – where it’s early morning for some, afternoon for others and the middle of the night for an unfortunate few – it’s been a game of Immortal Tetris to align all the pieces to suit availability and connection, sometimes shifting even as we sought to nail it all down! The mouse is indeed mightier than the sword…

Some of our panels and Q&As will inevitably run in parallel or overlap – but remember when choosing your viewing pleasure that recordings of all the panels will be available for 48hrs afterwards, so you will be able to view elements later. We have a great team working behind the scenes, but though we intend to keep to the running-order below to the best of our ability – and the platform means we can have multiple stages, making this easier – please be aware that there may be some inevitable last-minute changes to timings or guest participation on the day if there are technical issues beyond our control.

We encourage attendees to have a look around the platform before the event, so you can familiarise yourself with the surroundings and areas. Various members of the HLWW team will be around, but once you ‘land’ on the convention platform, directions are fairly intuitive.

Most of the events will be steered by a host. If you have questions for the guest, you can ask them in the Q&A window alongside the stage-screen and the host will get through as many as possible…

Also be aware that one of the stages will be showing/linking to videos such as fan-films etc… running over the weekend.
