Highlander WorldWide is delighted to welcome one of Highlander: The Series‘ best on-screen antagonists to his first HLWW event…. Peter Hudson (alias Hunter/Watcher James Horton).
Peter is most definitely a man of the world, having grown up in areas as geographically diverse as England, Africa, the Middle-East and South America. Peter was educated at the universities of Exeter and East Anglia in England and discovered a love of acting though he initially became a teacher of literature and French before treading the boards in a professional capacity.
That travelling instinct has continued through his professional life… he makes his home in France and has undertaken many recent projects there but has also filmed productions in Turkey, Israel, Canada, the Ivory Coast, Bulgaria, Serbia, England…
His resume includes a long list of diverse films including The Statement (2003), Hitman (2007), Arthur and the War of the Two Worlds (2007) Lock Out (as the President of the United States) in 2011, Les 3 Frères, Le Retour (2013), Jackie (2015), Valerian and the Cityof a Thousand Planets (2016) and The Informer (2017). In 2020 he filmed the epic The Last Duel with Ridley Scott alongside Matt Damon, Ben Affleck, Adam Driver and Jodie Comer. Due for release in October, it is based on actual events that took place in the 14th Century during the Hundred Year War and looks at honour, defiance and power as the wife of a knight is assaulted by a respected squire and the resulting feud that threatens their lives and divides a country. Peter plays the prosecutor and appears in the newly-released trailer for the film.
When not reading sonnets and soliloquies or providing much-sought-after narration and voice-performances, Peter also writes, directs and keeps bees.
