[Methos]: You know, Keane is just like you. He wants to divide the world up into good and bad. Well it's not that simple. We are all both. Good and evil. We have rage and compassion. We have love and hate." Pause, quieter. "Murder and forgiveness. Why don't you try forgiving yourself, for once?"

I'm so tired of killing. So tired of deciding who to kill. He's a good man, Darius. I don't want to kill him. All he's done is judge me like I've judged others. I'm so tired of the killing!

[Joe]: Now maybe I can't believe in a demon. But MacLeod, I believe in you. Whatever this thing is, and wherever it takes you . . . I'm in.

[Ahriman]: I'm a part of you now. [Duncan, smiling faintly]: You always were.

All I know is that evil exists in all of us, Joe. When we deny that, we give evil power. Ahriman said it himself: His greatest trick was to convince the world that he didn't exist. Well, he does. He exists in all of us. And once I accepted that, I was able to defeat him.

[Joe[: Come on. You have avenged Richie's death. Mac, you've defeated Ahriman. You're still Duncan MacLeod, of the Clan MacLeod. Take it, please. (the katana)

Willie shakes his head, saying angrily: "God damn you, MacLeod, who are you to say who lives or dies?!"

Duncan presses harder: "Exactly." He waits, and finally Willie nods, agreeing.   [Duncan]: If I hear of the premature death of Steve Banner, I will come for you.

There are rules, Marek, by which you are honor-bound.

[Marek[: "Don't bore me, MacLeod. Your rules are not made for one such as I." D: "They're not my rules. They're meant for all of us. For each and every immortal alive."

Katya, killing's not the answer.

[Katya]: "What about revenge?" [Duncan]: "The emptiness you feel....won't be filled by anger. Or revenge, or hate. Armando's death will just leave you feeling emptier. I think you need to feel life.

Duncan, slowly: "I haven't come to kill you, or to stop you. Just to tell you that if you do this, you'll never heal. Nothing will ever be the same. Let it go."

We lose friends, and we lose lovers. It always hurts.
